Middle and high school students can get a taste of college with this fun, interactive camp. Taught by college instructors, classes offered include dance, acting, playwriting, digital photography, writing, silk-screening, video game design, puppetry, life of Billie Holiday and digital media. o Kim Kwee - Silk-screening – You will learn to turn your design into stencils and print it, then display your work at final performance night. o Michad Holiday – Digital Media – Hands on experience with digital cinematography, editing, graphics, sound and presenting it all at final performance. o Genine Perez – Life of Billie Holiday – History focused looking at the life of Billie Holiday in her music, creative writing and dramatization. o Jan Wolfe – Puppetry – Exploring the dramatic experience of puppetry, storytelling and set designing. o Paula Morrell – Journey into Writing - Students will use their skills in writing to publish and present their poetry, fiction and non-fiction work. o Werner Trieschmann – Playwriting, From Page to Stage – Learning the creative writing process and performance of play-scripts. o Sheila Glasscock – So You Want to be a Star – Basics of acting with voice, body and mind, and performing. o Allison Wilson – Dance Your Way to Broadway! – Beginners welcome. A focus on dance moves from all genres. o Marty Trieschmann - Digital Photography – This will teach you how to compose images in camera using elements of art and design.
