Beginning as an American Culinary Federation Apprenticeship Program in 1995 and then becoming part of Pulaski Technical College in 2006, the program continues to grow.

In spring, 2010, the Pulaski Technical College Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institute received accreditation from the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation and the Accrediting Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration. Graduates will now enter the workforce with the most widely recognized culinary and hospitality credentials in the nation.  In 2013, the program received exemplary status symbolizing the highest educational standards recognized by the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation Accrediting Commission.  The award is presented to programs tha have proven full compliance with all ACFEFAC accreditation requirements in the last visiting team report along with excellent management of the program.
