Kristine Farmer, a past president of the National Federation of Paralegal Association, will be the guest speaker at the Amicus Curiae Paralegal Club meeting on March 2.
The meeting begins at noon in the Tom Steves, Sr. Community Room, located in the Business Technology Center.
Farmer will present "Litigation 101: An overview of the paralegal's role during all phases of litigation." The presentation will give attendees a glimpse into the day-to-day duties and responsibilities of litigation paralegals as well as key tasks by paralegals throughout the lifecycle of a lawsuit.
Farmer is a litigation case manager for Fish & Richardson P.C. and works in the areas of intellectual property, complex commercial, and labor/employment litigation. She is also an adjunct instructor at Pulaski Tech where she teaches Paralegal Computer Support.
The meeting is open to all students.
