Diversity nominations sought

The college's Cultural Diversity Committee is accepting nominations for the Pulaski Technical College Diversity Award, which recognizes full-time faculty or staff who have made outstanding contributions in promoting diversity on the PTC campus and/or in the community.

Past recipients include Mayo Johnson (IT), Doris Pierce (Disability Services), Kareem Moody (Network for Success) and Purnell Henderson (Director of Off Campus Operations). The recipient will be named at the Black History Banquet on Feb. 22.

Nominations are due by Feb. 18. To nominate a colleague, write a brief narrative outlining the contributions the individual has made to promote cultural awareness and diversity and why he/she deserves the award. Please include the name and position of the nominee as well as your name, position and contact information.

Nominations should be emailed by Monday, Feb. 18 to info@mosaictemplarscenter.com to the attention of Jennelle Primm, Director of Public Programs at Mosaic Templars Cultural Center. A committee will review and judge the nominations.
