State LULAC chairman to speak Sept. 19 at campus luncheon

Charles Cervantes, state director of LULAC Arkansas, will be the keynote speaker at Pulaski Technical College's Hispanic Heritage luncheon on Tuesday, Sept. 19. The luncheon will be 12:30-2 p.m. in the Campus Center Grand Hall. Cervantes will speak on the topic "Education and Building Partnerships."

The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) is the largest and oldest Hispanic Organization in the United States.  Its members work to improve the educational attainment, economic condition, political influence, health and civil rights of Hispanic Americans through community-based programs.
