Rex W. Kyle of Sherwood was recently appointed to the Pulaski Technical College Foundation Board of Directors.
Kyle, president of the Bank of the Ozarks Trust Division, will serve a three-year term on the board, which oversees the college's fundraising efforts.
Before joining Bank of the Ozarks in 2004, Kyle was senior vice president and trust officer at Regions Bank in Little Rock. His banking career spans nearly three decades during which he held top management posts at banks in Tyler, Waco, Midland and Fort Worth, Texas.
Kyle has a bachelor of science in agricultural education, a master of science in agricultural economics, and a master of business administration in finance, all from Texas A & M University. He has a Juris Doctor from the University of Texas at Austin.
He is a board member of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, secretary of Lions World Services for the Blind Foundation, a member of Arkansas Children's Hospital Professional Advisory Committee and a 2006 graduate of the Leadership Greater Little Rock Program.
He and his wife, Debbie, have three children.
