Pulaski Technical College recently announced outstanding faculty and staff awards for 2006-2007 during the college's annual Employee Recognition luncheon held May 17 in the college's Campus Center Grand Hall.
Candace Pierce of Little Rock who teaches sociology at Pulaski Tech's Little Rock site and who serves as Pulaski Tech's Faculty Senate president, received the Susan K. Reid Award for Teaching Excellence.
Lennon Parker of North Little Rock, the college's Web communication specialist, received the Quenton C. Burge Award for Service Excellence, which recognizes an employee who has made significant contributions to the college. The award is named in honor of Pulaski Tech's oldest and longest-serving employee, Quenton Burge, who presented the award.
The Adjunct Faculty Award for Teaching Excellence was awarded to two instructors: Dr. Milton Lites of Little Rock, a music instructor and director of the Pulaski Technical College Choir, and to Little Rock restaurateur Donnie Ferneau, who teaches at the Pulaski Technical College Arkansas Culinary School.
Pulaski Technical College
