The Saline County Career Center held an Open House on Aug. 23 so parents of students enrolled in the center's programs could meet the instructors and see the facilities.
Parents and grandparents of 47 students attended the open house from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the center in Bauxite.
During the day, students from Benton, Bryant, Bauxite and Harmony Grove high schools attend daytime programs offered in cosmetology, automotive technology, automotive collision repair and medical professions education.
The center also houses Pulaski Tech's cosmetology program.
The center has seven full-time instructors, including four newly hired instructors. They are:
