Fall Fest kicks off at Kanis
10/10/2007

Students at the Pulaski Tech's Little Rock site will be treated to food and plenty of festival fun  today at Fall Fest, the first such event at the Kanis Road site

Activities take place from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. today in the student parking lot behind the building.

Activities include carnival-style games, a rockwall, music by a deejay, a baseball simulator, a clown, and free hot dogs and cokes.

The Pulaski Tech chapter of the Arkansas Association of Women in Two-Year Colleges will provide popcorn, and Phi Theta Kappa will also sponsor a booth.

"This is the first year we've been able to have an event of this size at our Little Rock site," said Summer Tumbleson, director of Student Life and Leadership.

About 1,500 of PTC's nearly 9,000 students attend classes as the Little Rock site, 8901 Kanis Road.

The annual Fall Carnival at the main campus in North Little Rock will be on Oct. 24.
