New Phi Theta Kappa honorees

Ninety-two Pulaski Technical College students were inducted into the Beta Zeta Omega Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa.

The induction ceremony - the largest to date -- took place Dec. 8 in the Campus Center Grand Hall on Pulaski Technical College's main campus. Faculty, staff and fellow students attended the ceremony.

The new members bring the chapter's total membership to 1,267 people since the chapter's conception in 1998.

Membership in Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year colleges, is by invitation only. Each fall and spring, students who have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.5 and have taken 18 credit hours (non-developmental) toward an associate degree receive a letter of invitation.
