Pulaski Tech's Business Division will provide a free demonstration on July 22 of Wimba Live Classroom?, a new distance learning tool useful for current or aspiring paralegals, legal secretaries and other law office personnel who want to enhance their professional skills.
A demonstration of the real-time webinar will begin at 12 p.m. in the R.J. Wills Lecture Hall, on the second floor of the Campus Center on the college's main campus.
The Wimba webinar allows students to attend college classes in an interactive "virtual classroom" setting. Classes meet on specific days and at specific times, giving students the immediacy and structured format of a regular class, but the "classroom" may be at home, work or wherever the user's laptop may be.
Beginning this fall, Pulaski Tech will introduce real-time webinars to Legal Research and Writing paralegal students. The course will be offered during the noon hour to accommodate work schedules.
To reserve a seat on July 22, please call (501) 812-2250 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
