Students began arriving well before the start of their classes on Monday to explore the 159,000-square-foot center and its amenities, which include a library, a bookstore, a caf?computer labs and student services.

"I like it because it's new and nearby," said Candace Chandler, a student from Benton. "It's more convenient to work on my Associate of Arts degree closer to home."
