The Pulaski Technical College Division of Fine Arts & Humanities and the PTC Libraries Committee will present An Evening of Arkansas Authors, a unique two-in-one family literary event on Tuesday, Sept 30. The event will feature readings and a panel discussion with local authors Kevin Brockmeier, Hope Coulter and Trenton Lee Stewart. Concurrently, author Paula Martin Morell will conduct a creative writing workshop for youth ages 10 to 18. Students, faculty and staff can help support Banned Books Week by purchasing a Banned Books Week t-shirt for $12 or $15 for larger sizes. T-shirts are available in heather red or black. Proceeds will fund prizes for National Library Week contests. To see the t-shirt design, click here. To purchase, complete the order form by clicking here and sending it with your payment to the Ottenheimer Library or the Little Rock-South Library by Tuesday, September 16th by 12 p.m. T-shirts will be delivered on Friday, September 26, 2008, and distributed by faculty representatives from the library committee or at the Circulation Desk in Ottenheimer Library or Little Rock-South Library.
