Pulaski Technical College will kick-off Black History month activities with an observance of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Wednesday, Jan. 28.
A memorial display of artwork, videos and photos will be exhibited from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the first-floor foyer of the Campus Center.
A program of remembrance will take place from 12-1 p.m., featuring Logan Hampton, director of the Donaghey Student Center at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. The Rev. Cecil Gibson also will present King's "I Have a Dream" speech. Other activities include a MLK trivia game with prizes, readings by PTC students, and special music by Beata Lovelace, instructor of computer information systems.
All students, faculty and staff are invited to attend.
The observance ushers in Black History month, which is celebrated throughout the month of February.
