Saline County Career Center to host open house10/7/2010
The Saline County Career Center will host an open house on Tuesday, Oct. 19, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. and 12:30-2:30 p.m. at the center, located at 3201 South Reynolds Road in Bauxite.
Visitors will be able to tour the center's facilities, meet SCCC instructors, and visit with students as they demonstrate skills in the areas of auto technology, collision repair technology, cosmetology and medical professions education.
Teachers and guidance counselors who wish to bring their classes to the open house can schedule a tour by calling Mary Jane Dove, director of the center, at (501) 602-2420 (ext. 3207) or e-mailing her at mjdove@pulaskitech.edu
The Saline County Career Center, operated by Pulaski Technical College on the former campus of Alcoa Reynolds in Bauxite, offers secondary career and technical education programs for high school students in Saline County.
