Must demonstrate proficient mechanical aptitude with a strong attention to detail

Must possess demonstrated experience and proficiency in component level troubleshooting. | | Job Description: | These associates do everything from delivering packages and purchasing supplies to assembling aviation panel mounts and ensuring our large shipments of goods are exported according to applicable international laws. Together, they proactively support associates and customers alike.
Our electronics technicians apply electronic theory, electrical testing procedures and related knowledge to repair and newly overhaul aviation products returned by Garmin customers. Attention to detail, ability to work with others and complex thinking is a must if you want to be a part of this first-class team.
As an Electronics Technician-Inspector, you?ll trace circuits of defective units to locate defects and repair units to the component level, discuss layout and assembly problems with management to clarify problems encountered while repairing product, and recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to improve assembly, maintenance, test method or product performance.
Analyze and interpret test data
Adjust, calibrate, align and modify circuitry and components to effect repairs on units
Record test/alignment procedures and results, defects, repair history, numerical and graphical data
Compliance with HRD-003 (Garmin?s Attendance Policy)
Compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements
