|Preferred Qualifications: ||A High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience is required. Qualified candidates will demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills plus superior organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail and quality. Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel is also a must.
Candidates with an Associate?s Degree in Electronics, Industrial, or Manufacturing Technology or a substantially related field, and/or previous experience with automated assembly and testing equipment, (CAD) applications, and/or electronics soldering experience are preferred.|
|Job Description: ||These associates do everything from delivering packages and purchasing supplies to assembling aviation panel mounts and ensuring our large shipments of goods are exported according to applicable international laws. Together, they proactively support associates and customers alike.
Our process technicians not only direct and coordinate manufacturing processes in the factory, but they also improve production methods ? layout, tooling/product equipment, material, fabrication, etc. Their ultimate goal: to continually improve products, processes and personnel.
In this role, you?ll assist Process Engineers with tooling, process, and procedure design, write rework shop order work instructions and routings, and update and maintain work instructions, and implement Engineering Change Orders. You?ll be the owner of special projects, if assigned, and coordinate and/or perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
Other key responsibilities include:
Apply statistical methods to analyze product or process performance
Design and construct production tools, jigs, and fixtures
Train production staff
Control expenditures within limitations of project budget
Design processes and tooling utilizing knowledge of engineering principles
Prepare recommendations for reorganization of workcells and job duties to increase efficiency and eliminate excess processing steps and labor costs
Prepare reports as assigned and present reports to peers and managerial personnel
