Pulaski Technical College

2016 Summer Lego Camp

Are you looking for something fun and educational for your child while they are out of school this summer? If they like Lego's, sign them up for Pulaski Technical College’s Summer Lego Camp!

Lennon Parker, a Lego Master Builder and a member of the Lego Master Building Academy, teaches a two-hour workshop that introduces children to the educational side of Lego bricks. Students are introduced to proper organization and structure before starting their Lego project. Throughout the class, students will also learn the value of team work and be introduced to the process of film-making using the Lego kits they built in class. Each student will make their very own Lego movie and present it at the end of class.

As a bonus, participants will be able to view our exclusive "Lego Through the Decades" exhibit featuring rare items from every decade Lego has produced toys. Some of these items include original wooden toys from the early days of Lego! Participants will also have a meet/greet photo opportunity with “Emmett” from the hit Lego Movie.

Parents/guardians will need to stay throughout the course of the class and are encouraged to participate with their Lego builder. This camp is a must take class for the young Lego fan in your home!

* Pulaski Tech students, faculty and staff receive 30% off. E-mail the class instructor for the code.
