2016 Summer Lego Camp
Children love building and making new things with Lego bricks and we want to take their love for Lego bricks to the next level! Lennon Parker, a Lego Master Builder and a member of the Lego Master Building Academy offers a class that introduces children to the educational side of Lego bricks. Participants are introduced to proper organization and structure before starting a project with Lego bricks, team work with other participants, an introduction to engineering and mathematics while participating in hands on activities with Lego bricks, Lego trivia and chances to win prizes. Participants will also be introduced to film-making using Lego bricks and present their very owned produced video at the end of class and be able to take home their completed Lego kit.
An exclusive Lego exhibit featuring history of Lego bricks through decades which include original Lego toys, bricks and special rare items from the beginning of Lego until the present will be displayed along with a meet and greet/photo op session with "Emmet" from The Lego Movie. Parents/guardians will need to stay throughout the course of the class and are encouraged to participate with their Lego builder. This camp is a must take class for the young Lego fan in your home!
