Welding Technology Program Options
Pulaski Technical College offers two options in welding:
Credits earned in either option may be applied towards an Associate of Applied Science degree in General Technology. In this two-year program, a student may individualize his or her course of study to fit the needs of a specific business or industry.
Classes are offered days and evenings, but students wanting to complete the Technical Certificate program in two semesters must attend full-time during the day. Class time each week will consist of one to two hours of lecture and demonstration and about 25 hours of hands-on lab work.
Applications for admission to Pulaski Technical College are accepted at anytime. Financial aid is available for eligible students, but some forms of aid have spring deadlines so early application is advised.
Students are admitted into the welding program in January and August. Admission is open, but a high school diploma or GED is required. Strong math skills are recommended.
