Giving Opportunities
You are invited to join the patrons of giving at Pulaski Technical College. Please consider making a contribution to the college through one of the programs outlined below.
Campus Center and Library Expansion Building Fund
The college is currently conducting a major gift campaign to fund a badly needed Campus Center complex to serve as a one-stop center for student services functions, recreation, food services, bookstore, student activities, business office, and as a gathering place for students, faculty, staff and the community. At 92,000 square feet the Campus Center will be located at the entrance of our campus and serve as a focal point of activity on the campus and a community resource for Greater Little Rock. The Campus Center will enable the college to expand its student services initiatives from offices designed for a campus of fewer than 2,500 students to accommodate a projected enrollment of 12,000 students. In addition the campaign will fund the expansion of the library to 20,000 square feet to better serve our students and help meet the Association for College and Research Libraries’ standards for community, junior, and technical college learning resource program This program offers donors permanent naming recognition opportunities.
Transportation Technology Center Building Fund
The Transportation Technology Center will offer expanded programs in automotive technology, collision repair, diesel mechanics, and small engine repair, plus develop new training programs in motorcycle / ATV mechanic. In addition, general education courses designed to improve students’ basic skills in reading, math and English and college courses for those planning to move into management positions within the industry will be offered. Pulaski Technical College’s campus in North Little Rock offers an automotive / industrial facility of approximately 20,000 square feet that was built in the mid-1980’s. The facility, designed to ideally accommodate about 65 students, is stretched to its limit with an enrollment of 124 adult students. Instructional effectiveness and students’ hands-on training is severely limited under these conditions. The new Transportation Technology Center will allow the college to double its enrollment in its high-demand automotive, collision repair and diesel programs, in addition to providing much needed training in our community for other growing fields. Up-to-date equipment and technology will allow students to enter the workforce well prepared for success.
Unrestricted Gifts
Unrestricted gifts are always welcome. These allow the college to apply the money where it is most needed. Any level of support will assist the college and its students.
Pulaski Tech President's Club
Individuals and corporations choosing to support the annual fund of Pulaski Tech with donations of $1,000 and above will be inducted into the Pulaski Tech President's Club at a special reception honoring college benefactors.
Library Gifts
The Pulaski Technical College Library is the academic core of the college. It serves not only the students, but the faculty, staff, and community as well. In order to maintain and support a strong academic program, the Library needs gifts to help build its acquisitions.
Equipment Fund
The college continually updates academic program equipment and technology such as computers and instructional aids. The use of technology is essential to operational excellence and high-quality instructional services. The college must stay abreast of the latest in technological advances to serve our students and our community. People interested in funding specific equipment should contact the Development office.
Learning Assistance Center
A primary mission of Pulaski Tech is to provide higher education opportunities to individuals who are educationally under-prepared. Many of our students require additional support to succeed in college. The Learning Assistance Center provides students with tutoring and computer-assisted individual instruction to supplement the classroom instruction provided by the college.
Adopt-A-Class
Individuals and corporations may choose to support a specific area of study or certificate program. Pulaski Tech offers general university studies and 40 different technical and occupational training programs, which are targeted to the workforce needs of central Arkansas. Sponsorship of a defined program can help ensure availability of a trained workforce in certain professions. Sponsorships are $2,500 each.
Endowment Funds
Endowed funds allow the college to invest the principal and use the interest income to support programs. Annual income earnings will support the college's annual operating budget and allow the college to keep tuition and cost affordable. A gift to the college's Endowment Fund will live on in perpetuity and be the most beneficial gift to the college.
Endowment Scholarship Funds
The college is also seeking donors to consider endowing scholarship funds that will live on in perpetuity while leaving a legacy that will allow students to achieve their live long goals of education. How to make a gift:
