Institutional Research
Institutional research is the collection and analysis of data to help evaluate College effectiveness, to plan programs and to make good budget decisions. The following is a partial listing of the ongoing research projects undertaken by the office:- Data Support to the Foundations of Excellence® Self-Study: During the 2006-2007 academic year, the Office of Institutional Research, Planning and Effectiveness provided extensive data and analysis to the Foundations of Excellence® Steering Committee, to several of the Dimensions Committees and to the Current Practices Inventory. The office also coordinated faculty, staff and student surveys for the project. For more information on the Foundations of Excellence® process at Pulaski Technical College, please click here.
- Office of Civil Rights (OCR) Annual Reporting: Along with the rest of the public colleges and universities in Arkansas, Pulaski Technical College submits an annual statistical report on minority students, faculty and staff to the Arkansas Department of Higher Education. Downloadable copies of data from this report are available in Microsoft Excel format for the following years: 2005 and 2006.
- Annual Surveys: The office completes annual statistical surveys for the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), Peterson’s Annual Survey of Undergraduate Institutions, ACT, and the College Board.
During the 2007-2008 academic year, the Office of Institutional Research, Planning and Effectiveness will begin publishing a Common Data Set and a Fact Book. Please check back soon to view these additions.
