Associate of Applied Science in Military Technologies
TURN YOUR MILITARY TRAINING INTO A COLLEGE DEGREE at Pulaski Technical College with an Associate of Applied Science in Military Technologies.
WHY…
A college degree can be your key to promotions, job opportunities and career success.
A college degree is recognition of your skills, knowledge, education and training. Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors, and Marines receive valuable education as part of their military training. Pulaski Technical College’s A.A.S. in Military Technologies recognizes the value of this training.
HOW…
A soldier needs 60 college credit hours to complete Pulaski Tech’s Associate of Applied Science in Military Technologies. As many as 45 hours may come from a soldier’s military training. Some soldiers may need only five classes (15 credit hours) at Pulaski Tech. These five “residency” courses can be taken online.
WHAT…
The 60-credit hour Associate of Applied Science in Military Technologies degree is comprised of 15 credit hours in general education courses, 12 credit hours of management courses and 33 credit hours of technical electives in a technical specialty. Military hours can be from several military occupational specialties. If a soldier does not have sufficient military hours to fill the 45 “non-residency” courses, he or she can take the needed hours at Pulaski Tech or any other regionally accredited college.
An Associate of Applied Science is an occupational degree and is not intended as the first two years of a bachelor’s degree. This degree, while designed for Army National Guard members, is open to any active-duty or former military personnel.
