Advising and Registration for New Students

Follow these steps to become a new Pulaski Technical College student:
Step 1: Submit the application for admission and all required admissions documentation to the college. Click here for admissions information.
Step 2: Visit the PTC Advising and Career Center, Campus Center 318 on the main North Little Rock campus or the Little Rock-South Student Services office (fall registration only) during the dates listed below to be advised and register for summer or fall 2010. Advisors help you clarify your educational and career goals, understand your degree plan and assist you with choosing your classes for a successful semester at PTC.
Summer I and Summer I Extended: May 25-27 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. North Little Rock campus only.
Summer II: June 28-29 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. North Little Rock campus only.
Fall 2010: July 7-August 11 North Little Rock campus and Little Rock-South only.
Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
All new Pulaski Tech students planning to begin college in the fall 2010 semester who have not previously attended any other college are required to participate in new student orientation. Sessions will be available from July 7 to August 7, 2010. Transfer students, non-degree seeking students and returning PTC students are not required to attend.
Step 3: Register for your classes. After advising you will receive assistance to access PTC’s online student registration system to register for your selected classes.
Step 4: Pay for your classes. Payment for summer classes is due on the day of registration. Payment for fall classes is due on Wednesday, August 4 or on the day of registration. Payment for classes can be made in one of the following ways:
1. By submitting your financial aid award letter to the Financial Aid Office, 2nd floor, Campus Center Building.
2. By paying in full with cash, check, Visa or MasterCard online or at the Cashier’s Office, 2nd floor, Campus Center Building.
