Adult Education classes have been established at University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College for students in need of:
- Improving academic skills for college entry
- Preparation for employment based test and/or career readiness certificates
- Computer Skills
Little Rock and Pulaski County Special School District have partnered with University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College at the Main Campus site in North Little Rock and the UA-PTC – South site in Little Rock.
All instruction is free and participants have access to UA-PTC instructional materials and the campus libraries. After assessment, an individualized learning plan is set up for each student. Students will move along at his/her own pace using a variety of learning methods. Computers, books, small group instruction, and one-on-one instruction is used to ensure progress. Students may enter the program at any time.

The Adult Education Center at Pulaski Tech South has classes beginning August 22. These classes are available to students seeking to get their GED diploma, improve their basic skills, career readiness, and/or basic computer literacy skills. We also offer preparation for the AccuPlacer tests. Classes are offered Monday thru Thursday, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

The Saline County Adult Education Center operates on an open-entry/open-exit basis. A student aged 18+ can enroll anytime during the year during an orientation class and exit when his/her goals are achieved. All classes and materials are offered free of charge to students without regard to race, religion, creed, nationality, disabilities or gender.
Students can enroll to study G.E.D.® preparation, workplace skills, digital literacy skills, English as a Second Language (ESL) or basic skills remediation (for college or military entrance exams).
