BIC offers free class in homeowner how-to6/6/2011
The Business and Industry Center will present a free class on "Shopping for a Home: Questions You Wish You Had Asked" that is open to current or future homeowners.
Participants will get answers to questions about a home's comfort, utility costs, air quality, maintenance, energy audits, utility incentives and mortgage opportunities prior to closing.
The two-hour class will be offered on Thursday, June 9, from 10 a.m.-noon and again that evening from 6-8 p.m. The sessions will be taught at the Business and Industry Center, at 3303 East Roosevelt Road in Little Rock. Ron Hughes, a training specialist at the Business and Industry Center, is the instructor.
