Enrollment is open for this summer's Arkansas Teen College.
There are changes to the format of the summer program, designed for students in middle school and high school. Instead of being offered over two weeks, Teen College has been consolidated into one week, June 25-29.
Students will attend courses from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., instead of a half-day as in previous years. Also, students will select one of three tracks: Performing Arts, Visual Arts, or Film/Television and Cinematography.
The cost is $240, which includes lunch. Applications are due June 15, and are available here. A limited number of scholarships are available to financially needy students. For more information, email email@example.com.
Support for Arkansas Teen College is provided, in part, by the Arkansas Arts Council, an agency of the Department of Arkansas Heritage, and the National Endowment for the Arts and Gannett Foundation/KTHV-Channel 11.
All classes are taught by college instructors at the campus of Pulaski Technical College in North Little Rock.
Arkansas Teen College offers students the chance enjoy challenging, thought-provoking and fun subjects, giving students a taste of college while they are still in high school, middle school or junior high.
