PTC coach to serve as district coordinator2/1/2013
Gene Whitley, head coach for Pulaski Tech's Baseball Club, has been asked to serve as the coordinator for the National Collegiate Baseball Association Division II District VI.
He will continue to coach the PTC Diamonds while also taking on the new volunteer position.
Division II District VI consists of three conferences and includes 15 teams in five states. As the coordinator, Coach Whitley will be responsible for coordinating all teams in District VI, including rosters, team previews, weekly scores, scheduling, interpreting rules, handling protests, complaints, and ejection reports, and answering questions from other team representatives.
