Big Rock reading Series continues March 283/15/2013
The Big Rock Reading Series continues March 28 with a visit by Arkansas native Carla Killough McClafferty, who writes young adult nonfiction.
Her reading will at 6 p.m. in the RJ Wills Lecture Hall, located on the second floor of the Campus Center, followed by a question-and answer session and book signing.
McClafferty, whose first career was as a Registered Radiologic technologist, began writing after the death of her youngest son. The book, Forgiving God, is an adult inspirational book that deals with the spiritual battle she faced after the death of her son. She then began writing middle school nonfiction books.
The event is free and open to the public.
