IRS-certified volunteer with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program will be available to help students from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20, in the Campus Center foyer on the Main campus.
Students who wish to have their taxes completed need to bring the following: Social Security cards for self, spouse and dependants; Photo IDs; W-2 forms for all jobs held in 2013; all 1099s, 1098s and any other tax forms; copy of last year's return, dependent child care information; and checking and saving account and routing numbers for direct deposit purposes.
Appointments can be scheduled at the Information Desk in the Campus Center; others will be served on a first-come, first-served basis.
Participants also will be entered into a drawing for a $150 prepaid card sponsored through Community Financial Resources (CFR) and the Annie E Casey Financial Literacy Grant. The drawing will be held on Feb. 28.
