Pulaski Technical College will celebrate National Library Week Tuesday and Wednesday, April 4-5, with events from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the U.S. Bank Community Room on the first floor of the Information Technology Center on the main campus in North Little Rock. This year's theme is "Changing Your World with Words, Images and Music."

On Tuesday, Pulaski Tech published poets will share their works and answer questions about the writing and publishing process. The newly-formed Pulaski Tech Choir also will perform.

On Wednesday, President Dan F. Bakke will announce the first, second and third place winners of the National Library Week essay contest. Student writers will share readings from Milestones and The View from Here.

Drawings by students of Jerome Mazyck will be on display throughout the celebration. Lunch will be served for $1 each day with proceeds going toward prizes and speaker fees for next year's celebration.
