The Pulaski Technical College Foundation will host its 7th annual golf tournament in memory of former PTC employee P.G. Bradford on Aug. 25 at the Country Club of Arkansas in Maumelle.
Proceeds from the golf tournament will benefit PTC students enrolled in Fine Arts and Humanities programs. Pulaski Tech will open The Center for Humanities and Arts, complete with a 500-seat theatre, on its Main Campus in North Little Rock in fall 2015.
The format of the golf tournament is a four-person scramble with 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. shotgun starts. Team entry is $400 or $100 per person. Mulligans may be purchased before the tournament for $10 each. Prizes will be offered at individual holes throughout the day including a 2014 Volkswagen, $10,000 and various other prizes. First-, second-, and third-place teams also will receive prizes.
The golf tournament features the popular helicopter ball drop. Balls can be purchased for $10; the ball landing closest to the hole wins $1,000. Golfers also will enjoy breakfast from Chick-fil-a, lunch from Whole Hog Café North Little Rock, and craft beer from Arkansas Craft Distributors.
