Faculty Senate announces election results for 2006-07

The newly-reorganized Faculty Senate at Pulaski Technical College has announced election results for officers and senators for the 2006-07 academic year, according to Wade Derden, current chair.
Candice Pierce, instructor of sociology, has been named chair. Cathy Underwood, instructor of paralegal technology, has been elected vice chair. Angie Macri-Hanson, instructor of English, will serve as secretary.
Senators representing academic divisions are as follows:
Allied Health and Human Services Division - Tammy Smith, instructor of practical nursing, and Julie Williams, instructor of early childhood development;
Business Division - Nancy Beary, instructor of business, and Debbie Huber, instructor of medical transcription;
Education and Academic Success Division - Nancy Reedy, instructor of reading and education, and Kim Halpern, instructor of English;
Fine Arts and Humanities Division - Brian Hight, instructor of theatre arts, and Lyndel Roe, instructor of philosophy;
Information Technology Division - Don Gundolf, CISCO networking instructor, and Mayo Johnson, instructor of computer information systems;
Mathematics/Natural and Social Sciences Division - Wade Derden, instructor of history, and Ed Chess, instructor of history;
Technical and Industrial Programs Division - Ray Hoover, instructor of small engine repair technology, and Tom Hunt, instructor of air conditioning and refrigeration technology.
