Two teams from Pulaski Tech's Saline County Career Center won top medals at the SkillsUSA National Championship competition.
The Opening and Closing Team placed third nationally, earning a bronze medal. The SCCC's post-secondary team was also named "Outstanding Chapter" and received a gold medal.

The teams advanced to the national competition held June 24-30 in Kansas City, Mo., after taking top honors at the 2006-07 Skills USA Arkansas State Championships in April in Hot Springs.
Also competing nationally were students in Pulaski Technical College's Automotive Technology and Collision Repair programs and Small Engine Repair program.
SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit organization serving high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations, including health occupations. The organization was formerly called VICA (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America).
