Pulaski Technical College has a series of events planned to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month during September.
The Division of Fine Arts and Humanities, is sponsoring a series of events called "Lunchtime Limonada." The events, which kicked off last week, take place on the Campus Center Promenade.
On Thursday, Sept. 13, Ulrike White, a Spanish instructor, and Antoinette Brim, an English instructor, will discuss Hispanic poetry and literature. Their presentation will feature readings and discussions about Hispanic poets.
On Sept. 24, the Division of Fine Arts and Humanities will open a weeklong exhibition feature arts, crafts and multimedia presentations created and researched by our Spanish students. The exhibits will represent more than 20 different Spanish-speaking countries.
The exhibition's grand opening is set for 10-11 a.m. on Sept. 24 in the U.S. Bank Room in the IT building. After that, the exhibition will be open daily from 8:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. through Sept. 28.
