Pulaski Technical College's Career Pathways and TRiO Scholars Student Support Services are hosting a joint conference on Saturday, Nov. 17, for Pulaski Technical College students.
The conference workshops are free and open to anyone wishing to attend.
Pamela Anderson, director of temporary staffing at UAMS, will be the keynote speaker and will discuss "What Employers Need." Jo Keegan, the new Career Pathways director, will also address participants.
During break-out sessions, students can attend informative workshops on stress management, finance management, resiliency, individual development accounts and other topics.
Registration will take place 8:30-9 a.m. in the Campus Center Grand Hall. A continental breakfast and light lunch will be provided for Career Pathways and TRiO students.
The lunchtime hour will include a fashion show and door prizes.
From 1-2 p.m., participants can participate in a winter coat exchange. Participants can bring clean adult and children's coats to exchange for other sizes.
