On Thursday, March 19 at 3 p.m. Pulaski Technical College will hold the second annual PTC Trivia Smackdown. College faculty and staff experts in a variety of subjects are hereby solicited to enter this contest. Winning contestants will represent Pulaski Tech at Economics Arkansas' 2009 Pulaski County Corporate Trivia Challenge on Thursday, April 16, 2009. The location of the March 19 event will be at the R.J. Wills lecture hall on the main campus. The April 16 event will take place at Derek Fisher Court, Jack Stephens Center, on the UALR campus.
According to the Economics Arkansas Web site, "the Trivia Challenge is a fun-filled evening where teams of community leaders compete to match one another's wit and trivia knowledge. The format combines the elements of the game show 'Jeopardy,' the board game 'Trivial Pursuit' and the high school competition 'Quiz Bowl.'"
The Pulaski Tech Trivia Smackdown will follow a similar format.
