Gas Service Interrupted4/6/2009
The Information Technology building on the main Pulaski Technical College campus in North Little Rock was evacuated for a short time between 9:30 and 10 a.m. Monday. The building is now safe to enter and classes will resume normally.
A construction crew broke a gas line while digging a trench. The gas line has now been shut off and no further precautionary measures need to be taken.
The gas break has interrupted gas service to the Campus Center and the IT building. Stuart Smith, director of the physical plant, anticipates that repairs will take approximately one hour. Crews are working to ensure the safety of and minimize inconvenience to students, faculty and staff. Your patience and cooperation is appreciated.
