Pulaski Technical College will host an information fair on June 25 for people interested in learning about careers in aviation and aerospace.
The fair will take place 11 a.m.-7 p.m. at the Pulaski Technical College Aerospace Technology Center, located at 1600 W. Maryland Ave., next to the North Little Rock Airport.
Admission is free, and refreshments will be provided.
Attendees will learn about job training and scholarships available in the aerospace industry, talk with aircraft maintenance instructors, tour the center's newly expanded hangar and state-of-the-art training facility, and learn about admission and enrollment.
The college offers an Associate of Applied Science in Aviation Maintenance Technology and certification programs in Aircraft Manufacturing, Avionics/Electronics Technology, and Aircraft Maintenance.
The college's Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) Certification Program is an FAA-certified school for students interested in obtaining Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required for performing aircraft maintenance. Day and evening programs are offered. The evening program begins July 6, and the day program starts Aug. 17.
