Late registration for the spring 2011 semester at Pulaski Technical College will conclude today, Thursday, Jan. 6.
The hours for registration are from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Registration will take place in the college's Campus Center on the main campus, 3000 West Scenic Drive in North Little Rock. Payment is due on the day of registration, and classes begin Jan. 10. New students must apply in person.
All required documents should be sent to the Office of Admissions. Students entering college for the first time need a high school transcript with graduation date or GED scores and ACT or COMPASS scores no more than five years old. Students who previously attended college need official copies of transfer transcripts from the colleges or universities they attended. A record of ACT or COMPASS scores is required if college-level math and English were not completed with a grade of "C" or better.
The COMPASS is administered in the Campus Center on a walk-in basis from on Thursday, Jan. 6, from 8 a.m..- 4 p.m. The testing fee is $10.
All students must submit proof of two measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) immunizations.
All first-time college students are required to attend a new student orientation during the registration period. During orientation, students learn about services offered and meet with an academic advisor to develop a schedule and register for spring semester classes.
