Campus MLK observance set for Jan. 261/18/2011
Pulaski Technical College's Cultural Diversity Committee will host a Martin Luther King Jr. Remembrance and Black History Month Kick-off on Wednesday, Jan. 26.
The program will take place 12- 1 p.m. in the Campus Center foyer. DuShun Scarbrough, executive director of the Arkansas Martin Luther King Commission, will be the guest speaker, and The Rev. Cecil Gibson will once again perform Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech.
Other activities will be taking place from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Campus Center foyer, including the repeated showing of a 20-minute documentary about the assassination of Dr. King.
