Heat in the Street
The “Heat in the Street” 3 on 3 basketball tournament was held on October 1, 2005. The Arkansas Rockers, The Pulaski Technical College Bookstore, Mid-AR Vending, Coca-Cola, and the Pulaski Technical College Student Government Association were sponsors. First, second, and third place teams and the winner of the dunk contest were given a trophy and cash prize.

Operation KARE (Katrina Aid Relief Effort)
After the devastating events of Hurricane Katrina the Student Government association and the Student Ambassadors hosted a donation drive. The Hurricane Katrina Aid Relief Effort was a great success, and the donated goods were sent to the St. Francis House.

The Student Government Association hosted a “Restaurant Take-over” on November 15, 2005 at Cotija’s Mexican Grill.

Lesson's for Leno
Student Government members attended the Lessons for Leno tour at the state Capitol. The national tour’s purpose is to inform our nation’s communities about the importance of community colleges.
