Students enrolled in the TRIO Scholars Program are eligible for the following services:
Personal & Academic Counseling
Each TRIO scholars plans for his or her academic success with an academic specialist. In a friendly and caring environment, scholars learn to make the academic system work for them by identifying areas needing improvement, and by using project and campus services to reach their academic goals. Scholars team with staff members to coordinate assistance from other resources on campus.

Study Skills
Study skills offered through the program focus on developing learning skills that maximize one's strengths and minimizes one's weaknesses in the context of one's learning style. Study skills are presented in a one-on-one or small group format.

Tutor-Mentor Program
As a part of their academic success strategies, TRIO scholars work with qualified tutor-mentors who provide content tutoring in writing, mathematics and computer skills, as well as supporting the student’s other academic, career and personal growth goals.
TRIO scholars are paired with a faculty tutor-mentor who assists the student in becoming acclimated to the college environment as well as providing direction on how best to navigate their academic career, assisting them in addressing any academic challenges, and offering guidance on balancing their home, work and school life.

Use of Computer Lab
Use the TRIO Scholars Program computer lab to do homework and improve computer skills. Use on-line financial aid applications and other computer software.

Transfer Assistance
If you are interested in transferring to a four-year institution, the project provides field trips for college exploration, as well as assistance in admissions and financial aid.
