Career Pathways Eligibility
How do I know if I'm eligible for Career Pathways?To be eligible to participate in the Career Pathways Program you must meet the following household and income guidelines:
You must be an adult caretaker, parent or relative of a child under the age of 21 --- AND
-
are receiving Transitional Employment Assistance(TEA) now --- OR
-
are receiving food stamps, Medicaid, or ARKids --- OR
-
have an annual family income less than 250% of federal poverty level (see below income chart).

What is the application process?
Applications for students enrolled/enrolling in Pulaski Technical College are accepted during the enrollment dates set by the college. Applications for current TEA, WorkPays or GED students are accepted daily. To apply, visit the Pulaski Technical College Career Pathways offices on the Main campus in North Little Rock or at PTC Little Rock - West and complete a one-page application. Applications are also available only by clicking on this link here (PDF).
All applicants must have a goal of employment in accordance with Arkansas Act 514. Pulaski Technical College is funded to serve only 469 participants, with 157 of those being current TEA or WorkPays participants. Due to the high volume of applications received, priority is given to current Tea/WorkPays participants and students enrolled in high-wage/high-demand areas of study. This allows us to be compliant with Arkansas Act 514 and regulations established in our Annual Plan, MOU and TANF Contractors Packet issued by ADHE/DWS.
All applications will receive written notification regarding the status of their application.
