Career Pathways Program Services
What can the Career Pathways program offer parents?Students enrolled in the Career Pathways program are eligible for the following services:
Personal Academic and Career Counseling
Counselors are on staff to guide students as they make decisions related to their education and future career. Testing is available to assist students in their educational journey by helping the students identify their individual strengths and weaknesses, interests, and values.
Employment Assistance
An Employment Specialist is available to assist participants if they need a job while they go to school or to help them land that first position in their new career when they complete their education. Workshops will also be offered throughout the year to help them find a job and be successful in it.
Study Skills
Career Pathways staff members want to help students succeed in college by showing them the skills they need to be successful. Workshops will offer help with time management, test preparation, organizational skills, and more.
Professional Tutor-Mentors
Career Pathways participants can work with qualified instructors at Pulaski Technical College who will provide tutoring in writing, mathematics, and computer skills as well as encourage academic and personal progress.
Easy Access to Computers
The Career Pathways offices offer participants computer labs at the North Little Rock and Kanis locations are available to do homework, improve computer skills, complete FASFA, Internet, and e-mail access.
