Mission
To foster social, emotional, physical, cognitive and creative development in a safe and healthy learning environment.
Children First C.D.C. serves Pulaski Technical College employees and Veterans Administration employees. Little Learners Academy serves PTC students.
Hours of Operation
Children First is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. Little Learners is open from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Location
Children First is located next door to Pulaski Technical College at the Fort Roots Veterans Administration in Building 68. Little Learners Academy is located at 1500 West Pershing Boulevard as you come up the hill to Pulaski Tech.

To learn how Children First can meet your child care needs, please call (501) 257-2187. To put your child on the waiting list, please fill out the Child Data Form (PDF) or come by one of the centers. You may drop the form off to the center, fax it to (501) 257-2191, or mail it in. Children are kept on the waiting list for a maximum of 90 days. Once a spot is available, we will contact you by phone. Please note the preferred contact person and number, as well as if you are a PTC student, PTC staff/faculty, or VA employee. Enrollment Procedures
Parents or guardians interested in enrolling their children should bring their child's immunization record to the child care center. A tour will be given by a center employee and other enrollment forms will be available for completion. It may be necessary for children to be placed on a waiting list until the center has a space available.
Registration Fee and Tuition
The center charges a registration fee of $40. Tuition for infants, toddlers, and two-year-olds is $120 per week. The charge for preschoolers is $105 per week. Part-time rates are $84, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and $56 for Tuesday and Thursday. The center participates in the DHS voucher program for Pulaski Technical College students and the FEEA program for VA employees.
