| Job Description: | Contract Interpreters will work directly under the supervision of the Coordinator for Disability Services and will provide interpreting services to students who are deaf and hard of hearing.
General Responsibilities:
Interpreting for students who are deaf and/or hard of hearing (D/HOH) for the following:
Disability Services intake appointments.
COMPASS testing information.
Daily class schedules (day and evening classes) for the academic year.
Meetings between Disability Services and the D/HOH student.
Tutoring appointments with the student-assisted programs on PTC's campus.

| Minimum Requirements: | Quality Assurance Screening Test (QAST) level IV or higher.
RID/NAD or NIC certification.
Bachelor’s degree and graduate of an Interpreter Education Program.
Two years of interpreting experience, preferably in the postsecondary higher education setting.
