| Job Description: | Pulaski Technical College in North Little Rock, Arkansas, the state's largest two-year college, is accepting applications for a PACE Grant Project Coordinator. This position reports to the Vice President for Instruction. Pulaski Technical College, along with all other two-year colleges in the state, has received a three-year U.S. Department of Labor grant (PACE grant) to improve and accelerate degree completion for students in certain targeted career and technical education (CTE) programs. To that end, the grant requires colleges to implement several strategies: redesign assessment and placement processes; redesign math and language developmental education courses to reduce time to completion; change the scheduling and delivery of CTE program courses to accelerate completion; and improve student advising and job placement processes and services. The grant also calls for colleges to work closely with local employers to align CTE program curricula with employer needs.
Pulaski Technical College is seeking a .50 FTE Project Coordinator who will be responsible for the overall coordination of the college's participation in the grant. The Coordinator will coordinate the planning, implementation, accountability, and continuous improvement activities required of the college to participate in the grant and successfully execute the aforementioned strategies to improve and accelerate degree completion.
General Responsibilities: Help establish a timeline and key progress milestones for successfully implementing the college's participation in the grant; Help organize and coordinate institution-based teams of faculty and staff to redesign programs, course curricula, and student services, and hold teams accountable for meeting key progress milestones and grant deliverables;
Help ensure employer engagement in program and curriculum redesign processes; Coordinate all grant related reporting to AATYC and NWACC;
Help ensure all grant related expenses are in accordance with approved budget and grant deliverables; Coordinate the college's participation in all state-wide technical assistance and regional coaching trainings; Serve on the PACE grant Steering Committee, which will serve to advise the overall grant management team, and attending committee meetings; Other duties as assigned.

| Minimum Requirements: | Successful completion of a master’s degree; Knowledge of college’s academic and student services organizational structure and procedures, and direct connection to top level administrators/decision-makers in these areas.

| Preferred Qualifications: | Strong organization and time management skills; Demonstrated ability to work in teams; Prior successful project and/or grant management experience.
