| Job Description: | Pulaski Technical College in North Little Rock, Arkansas, the state's largest two-year college, is accepting applications for 2 Full-Time Nine Month Faculty positions of the Pulaski Technical College Arkansas Culinary School. The Culinary Arts Instructors are required to teach a full load (5 classes) at the Pulaski Technical College Arkansas Culinary School, under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director and Director of Programs at the Pulaski Technical College Arkansas Culinary School. General Responsibilities: In control at all times of ordering and the maintaining of products food and non-food needed for instruction of classes. Provide academic leadership of the school in conjunction with the Assistant Director and Director of Programs. Assist with maintaining appropriate relationships with the licensing bodies. Sustain and develop future academic programs. Attend faculty development seminars. Pursue the Certified Culinary Educator certification through the American Culinary Federation. Assist with periodic program review no less frequently than every three to five years for each academic program. Assist with maintaining national accreditation through the American Culinary Federation. Assist with maintaining national accreditation through The Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration. Assist with Arkansas Culinary School Special Events. Engage in the ongoing processes and activities necessary for evaluation and professional development of faculty. Promote the goals of the school both internally and externally. Assist with career placement services. Assist the Assistant Director and Director of Programs in all ways necessary to grow and maintain the integrity of the program. Promote the mission of Pulaski Technical College.

| Minimum Requirements: | Associate degree in culinary arts (for the 2 Culinary Faculty Positions) or Hospitality management (for the Hospitality Faculty Position) or a related field from an accredited institution. Certified or Certifiable as CEC and or CCE with the American Culinary Federation. Prior college level teaching experience. Commitment to the mission of the comprehensive two-year college and its role in total community development. Leadership and managerial abilities, including excellent organizational, computer and communications skills. Understanding and commitment to equal access/equal opportunity.

| Preferred Qualifications: | Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or a related field from a regionally-accredited institution. Certified as CEC and or CCE with the American Culinary Federation.
