January Staff 2009 Star Award Jason Poole is the recipient of the Staff Star Award for January 2009. Jason has been at Pulaski Tech since November 2007. As enrollment coordinator, he helps recruit students and assists them in the enrollment and admissions process. He meets with prospective students and their families when they visit the college and ensures they have a positive campus experience. He also visits schools in Pulaski Tech’s four-county to promote the college’s programs. In addition, Jason is a member of Class II of Leadership Pulaski Tech and a member of the Staff Senate. |

February 2009 Faculty Star Award Antoinette joined the Pulaski Technical College staff as an adjunct in 2003 and became a full-time instructor in August 2004. She teaches World Literature, Composition and Creative Writing. When she’s not teaching she’s writing poetry. Her poems have been published in numerous magazines, journals and anthologies, and her debut collection of poetry will be published this fall. |

February Staff 2009 Star Award Donna McSpadden is the recipient of the Staff Star Award for February 2009. Donna has worked in Counseling and Advising since May 2008. She works one-on-one with students to provide them personal counseling and academic advising, and she works with faculty to do presentations on subjects such as time management, physical and mental health awareness, and stress management. Donna serves on the Campus Health Initiatives Committee and recently helped coordinate the PTC Health Challenge. She also works with the Arkansas Collegiate Drug Education Coalition to bring awareness of drug and tobacco to college campuses. |
