Circulation Policies:

All patrons are required to fill out a registration form at the beginning of each semester. Students must show their current Pulaski Technical College identification card. ID cards are made in the Campus Police/Public Safety Department on the main North Little Rock Campus.

Loan Periods

  • Circulating materials: Maximum of five (5) items for two (2) weeks. May be renewed for two more weeks if there are no holds pending.
  • Special collection videocassettes: One (1) for two (2) nights or a weekend.
  • Reference materials: Faculty only checkout.
  • Periodicals: Current issues are not available for checkout. Back issues can be checked out for two (2) nights or a weekend.

Overdue Notices and Damage/Loss Charges

  • Overdue fines are not charged.
  • Students are notified once by mail or telephone when materials are overdue.
  • Damaged, lost, or non-returned items are charged at the replacement cost of the item plus a non-refundable $10.00 processing fee for each item billed.
  • Students returning billed library materials one year after original due date will not receive a refund.
  • After the first notice, damage assessments and lost items are charged to the student's account by the Pulaski Technical College Business Office.
  • Non-payment of charges will result in a hold on a student's record. Holds prevent students from registering for classes or obtaining transcripts from the College.

Interlibrary Loan Services:

  • Interlibrary Loan is a service which borrows materials from other libraries.  Currently enrolled students, faculty and staff are eligible for this service.
  • Patrons may borrow books or request photocopies of newspaper, magazine and journal articles.
  • Since the searching and shipping process can take anywhere from a day to a couple of weeks, patrons are encouraged to start their research well before an assignment is due.
  • Simply fill out an Interlibrary Loan Request form available at the Library circulation desk or online.  To access a form online, click on the link and save the form to your computer.  Forms can be submitted to the library in person or by email as an attachment. Send to: LibraryStaff@pulaskitech.edu
